I was born and raised here in Illinois, being landlocked in the middle of America. It has helped me to create and imagine, some people call it daydreaming I think it's intuitive! I have two cats Jake and Leo, and the sweetest nephew in the world! I love to see the details in people in nature that may have been overlooked. For over 10 years I was a painter, and I wanted to expand into my hidden interest of photography. To describe my style, I would say it is filmy, romantic, bold and candid.

If people watching was an acceptable hobby, it would be mine! Humans and animals have such fun and interesting personalities. It started with wanting to take pictures of sunsets, friends, pets, and landscape, but I was instantly drawn to it. In the fall of 2023 I rebranded from painting into photography. The transition has been seamless and so fun! Not only am I photographer, I am also a certified wilderness first responder. It seemed like the perfect way to channel my spirit of the outdoors, being helpful and to have more opportunities in nature.

 

My Approach

My work is an expression of what I am most passionate about: storytelling, simplicity and human interaction. I see beauty in everything and in everyone. Do you feel the same way?
