Jamile + Levi: The Soon-to-Be Hendersons
It’s always a joy to capture love stories, and Jamile and Levi’s elegant engagement session was nothing short of magical. The soon-to-be Hendersons met me early one Saturday morning in downtown Chicago for a shoot that beautifully reflected their timeless style and deep connection.
Our adventure began at the iconic Bean in Millennium Park, where the city’s skyline served as the perfect backdrop for their portraits. From there, we made our way to the Chicago Cultural Center, an architectural gem that added an extra layer of sophistication to their session. Arriving just as the doors opened, we had the space nearly to ourselves, making the most of the serene atmosphere before the usual weekend crowds arrived.
The Cultural Center offers a unique opportunity for photography, with its free access during the first and last hours of operation. We took full advantage of the natural light streaming through the stained glass and the intricate details of the historic interior, creating images that truly capture the essence of Jamile and Levi’s love story.
Now, the countdown begins for their February wedding in Dixon, IL, where their journey as husband and wife will officially begin. I can’t wait to celebrate with them and see all the details of their special day come together.
